Promotes the Juvenile Addiction Risk Rating (JARR), a brief measure of
addiction potential based on 10 risk factors found in the literature to be
predictive of youth alcohol and drug-related problems. Derived from
collateral information, the JARR is a screening instrument designed to
assist examiners in better clinical decision-making and selectivity when
self-report data is limited or inconsistent.
