FIELDWORK ASSIGNMENT
Disney College Program
Center for Leisure Services
Dept. of Recreation, Parks, and
Leisure Services Administration
RPL 318 (1-12 cr)
Students will receive a letter grade for the fieldwork credit in which they enroll. It is most important that
the student fulfill their job responsibilities to the best of their ability, because considerable weight is given
to the student’s actual performance. A poorly completed written assignment will result in a lower grade,
even if the student’s work performance is excellent.
Grading Criteria

Other Assignments

Employee Informational Interviews
In addition to your paper, select two professional cast members at Disney to interview. You
may choose anyone inside / outside your immediate work location. Develop your own questions,

afterward. Include the following in your reports:

Disney Course
We value the educational classes that Disney offers (either Collegiate or Disney Exploration
Series seminars) and require that you take and complete only one class or seminar (your choice)
as part of earning CMU fieldwork credit during the time you are there. Submit a Disney grade
report with your paper (found on the Disney HUB) to document your class/seminar.

Request a Performance Evaluation from your Disney manager at the completion of your program
and give it to you before you depart. Make a copy of your final evaluation and submit it with your
