NAME THE CENTURY 21® MARKETING PLATFORM CONTEST
OFFICIAL RULES
1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN THIS NAME THE CENTURY 21® MARKETING PLATFORM
CONTEST. Open and offered only to CENTURY 21® Offices that are in good standing in the 50 United States and
the District of Columbia. Entry is on an individual basis and any submission must identify their name and
associated CENTURY 21 Office for which the submissions is made. Any individual entrant that is not in good
standing or whose association with the CENTURY 21 system is terminated before the date of the Winner
Selection (as defined below) is not eligible to win this NAME THE CENTURY 21® MARKETING PLATFORM
CONTEST and shall not be considered in the Winner Selection. All employees of Century 21 Real Estate LLC
(“Sponsor”) and its subsidiaries and affiliated companies, advertising, promotion, or production agencies (and
their respective IRS dependents, immediate family members [children, spouse, parents, siblings] and individuals
residing in their same household) are not eligible to participate. Void where prohibited, taxed or restricted by
law. By participating, entrants agree to these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and
binding in all matters relating to this Contest.
2. HOW TO ENTER: The Contest begins at 12:00:01 a.m. Eastern Time (“ET”) on 4/4/2012 and ends at 11:59:59
p.m. ET on 4/16/2012. To enter:
1. Submit all suggested names via email to C21.NameContest@century21.com. Entries must be submitted
by 4/16/2012.
Entries must be submitted by a CENTURY 21 System member. To submit your Entry, do all of the
following: 1) Send an email to with your name, your Office name, city, state, contact information and the name
or names that you are proposing for the new CENTURY 21 Marketing Platform to
C21.NameContest@century21.com, between 12:00:01 a.m. Eastern Time (“ET”) on 4/4/2012 and 11:59:59 p.m.
ET on 4/16/2012 (the “Submission Period”); and 2) thoroughly review these Official Rules.
Multiple entries are allowed and each entry can include multiple names. If more than one person suggests the
winning name, the person who submitted it first based on the time and date of the emails sent to
C21.NameContest@century21.com will win the prize.
Entries that are deemed by the Sponsor, at its sole discretion, to be immoral, obscene, vulgar, demeaning,
profane, unnecessarily violent, scandalous, defamatory, libelous or generally not in keeping with the image of
Sponsor, or in violation of these Official Rules will result in the disqualification of the entrant at issue. Further,
all Entries that defame or invade publicity rights or privacy of any person, living or deceased, or otherwise
infringe upon any person’s personal or proprietary rights (including, without limitation, any trademark or
copyright rights), as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion, will be disqualified. Modification of an existing
work does not qualify as original. Contest names should not contain slogans or expressions that are registered
trademarks of third parties. Sponsor will conduct due diligence on contest names to identify any trademark
infringement issues prior to awarding prizes. All Entries shall be the property of Sponsor, and entrants agree,
by submitting Entries, that they will not challenge the ownership of the selected name or take any action to
register the name or otherwise take action to create any ownership interest for themselves in the name
submitted. Released Parties (as defined below) will not be responsible for lost, incomplete, stolen, damaged,
inaudible, garbled, invalid, delayed, undeliverable, late, or unplayable Entries, or any combination thereof, or for
printing, typographical or other errors appearing in these Official Rules or other Contest materials, inaccurate
entry or other Contest-related information, garbled communications, failures or malfunctions of internet
connections, phones, phone lines, telephone systems; satellite, cable, network, Internet Service Provider (ISP),
technical or mechanical malfunctions, damage to an entrant's or third party’s computer equipment (software or
hardware), or other malfunctions, problems or errors, whether caused by equipment, programming used in this
Contest, processing error, human error or otherwise, including, without limitation, errors or problems which
may occur in connection with the administration of the Contest, the processing or judging of Entries, the
tabulating of votes, the announcement of the prizes or in any Contest-related materials. Sponsor reserves the
right, at its discretion, to void any Entries and/or votes of any entrant and/or voter whom Sponsor believes has
attempted to tamper with or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play of this Contest.
3. WINNER SELECTION: At the end of the Contest Period, each qualified Entry will be judged by a Sponsordesignated panel comprised of Sponsor’s representatives with expertise in marketing. The panel will review the
qualified Entries and select a winner. The winner will be notified by electronic mail and may be required to
execute and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability and Publicity Release (unless prohibited by law), as well as
a separate release/transfer of any rights in the Entry/contest name, which must be returned within six (6) days
of date of issuance. Noncompliance with the foregoing or with this time period, with these Official Rules, the
return of any prize or prize notification as undeliverable or Sponsor’s inability to contact any winner within three
(3) days of the date of first notification attempt may result in disqualification and a runner-up will be notified at
the sole discretion of Sponsor. Sponsor reserves the right to not award any prize or all prizes if, in its sole
discretion, it does not receive a sufficient number of eligible and qualified Entries. If none of the submissions are
deemed suitable, Sponsor will determine an appropriate name for the system. In that case, a random drawing
will be held from a pool of all submitters to determine the winner of the prize. Sponsor reserves the right, in its
sole discretion, to void suspect entries or to modify, cancel, terminate or suspend the Contest (or portion
thereof), should any causes corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play of the Contest
and, in the event of such cancellation or termination, at its discretion, select the winner(s) from all valid, nonsuspect eligible Entries received (as applicable) prior to such event using the judging procedure outlined above.
By participating, all entrants agree to abide by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor and panel,
which shall be final and binding.
4. PRIZES/APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUE (“ARV”):
All prizes are awarded “as is,” and Sponsor makes no warranties or guarantees with respect to such prizes. Any
and all warranties and/or guarantees (if any) shall be subject to the service providers’ terms therefor, and
winners agree to look solely to such service providers for any such warranty and/or guarantee. All applicable
federal, state and local taxes, if any, and any other expenses associated with prize acceptance and use not
specified herein as being awarded are the sole responsibility of the winners. Total combined ARV of Grand Prize
is $2,000. All prize details are at Sponsor’s sole discretion.

The premium version of the new CENTURY 21 Marketing Platform, free for 12 months and a new
iPad.
5. GENERAL RULES: No transfer, assignment, cash redemption (for non-cash prizes) or substitution of prizes, or
portion thereof, except by Sponsor who may substitute a prize, or portion thereof, with one of comparable or
greater value, at its sole discretion. By entering, each participant warrants and represents that (1) if its Entry is a
winner, it agrees to provide legal releases for the use of such reference in a form satisfactory to judges and/or
Sponsor; (2) that Sponsor shall own the Entry; (3) that by entering, the entrant assigns to Sponsor and its
designees any and all rights, title and interest in the Entry including but not limited to all intellectual property
rights; and (4) that Sponsor and its designees shall have, without limitation, the perpetual right worldwide to
edit, adapt, modify, publish, exploit and use the Entry in any way and in any and all media now known or
hereafter devised for trade, advertising, promotional and/or other purposes (including, but not limited to,
posting online for public display and) as Sponsor and/or its designees may determine without further permission
from; or notification or consideration to the entrant or any third parties. Entrants further agree that their Entry
(and all components thereof) will not be acknowledged or returned. Entrants agree that the Released Parties
shall have no liability and will be held harmless by the entrant for any liability, loss, injury or damage to
participants or any other person or entity, including personal injury or death to participants or any other person
or damage to personal or real property, due in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, by reason the entrant’s
participation in this Contest, the use of any Entry or the use or misuse of any prize or any of the rights granted
herein. By entering, participants agree to release the Sponsor, its parent, affiliates, subsidiaries, employees,
officers and agents (the “Released Parties”) from any and all liability claims or actions of any kind whatsoever for
injuries, damages or losses to persons and property that may be sustained in connection with the receipt,
ownership or use of the prize, or while preparing for, participating in, and/or traveling to any prize-related activity
including but not limited to any injury, loss, damage, whether direct, compensatory, incidental or consequential,
to person, including death, and /or property, arising in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from their
acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any prize, or their participation in this Contest, or any prize-related
activity. Released Parties also expressly disclaim any responsibility or liability for injury or loss to any person or
property relating to the delivery and/or subsequent use of the prize awarded. Released Parties are not
responsible for any inability of the winners to accept or use a prize and reserves the right, at its sole discretion,
to disqualify or eliminate entrant and award prizes to the next runner-up. Sponsor may disqualify anyone from
participating in the Contest or winning a prize if, in its sole discretion, it determines that such person is
attempting to undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest by cheating, deception or other unfair playing
practices, or intending to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other entrant or Sponsor’s representatives and
all associated Entries, videos and/or votes will be void. ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY UNDERMINE THE
LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE CONTEST MAY BE IN VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD
SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES AND OTHER REMEDIES
(INCLUDING ATTORNEYS’ FEES) FROM ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT OF THE LAW, INCLUDING
CRIMINAL PROSECUTION. In the event of sabotage, acts of God, or other events or causes beyond the Sponsor’s
reasonable control that corrupt the integrity, administration, security or proper operation of the Contest, Sponsors
reserve the right to cancel or suspend the Contest. In the event of cancellation, prizes will be awarded from among
all eligible, non-suspect entries received prior to the event requiring such cancellation. Sponsor is not responsible
for lost or corrupted Entries or errors of any kind, whether human, mechanical or electronic, related to any
Entry, including without limitation, the incorrect or inaccurate capture of entry information regardless of cause.
Entry material/data that has been tampered with or altered is void. Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole
discretion, to cancel/suspend/modify the Contest if it becomes corrupted in any manner such that it cannot be
conducted as originally planned. The Contest is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and
regulations. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute prize of equal or greater value.
