LADIES ROUND ROBIN 2015
This competition is to be played as a nine hole competition, all matches to be
completed by Sunday 1st March, 2015.
Groups – the competition is to be played in three groups based on handicap – group A
under 20 handicap, group B under 30 handicap and group C 30 and over handicap.
There will be a prize for the winner of each group. This year the scoring (see below) will
be different to ensure insofar as possible that there is no need for a playoff.
Handicaps – handicaps are to be calculated as half the difference between the two
handicaps, i.e. if there is a difference of 4 shots between two competitors the player with
the higher handicap would have 2 extra shots over nine holes. If the difference is an
uneven number i.e. 5 the player with the higher handicap would get 3 extra shots over
nine holes.
Scoring – the scoring will be as follows:Winning on the 5th hole Winning on the 6th hole Winning on the 7th hole Winning on the 8th hole Winning on the 9th hole Drawing on the 9th hole Giving a walk over -
