2010 Dual Program Structure
It is important that you read and understand the following information.
To be eligible to enrol in a dual degree program you must ensure that you satisfy the entry
requirements for both programs.
Once enrolled it is your responsibility to ensure that you complete all the requirements for each section
of this dual program in order to graduate with both degrees. The following information is designed to
help you plan your enrolment to meet this goal. Further information can be found in the Official rules
and Course lists under the Program Rules and Requirements link for each program in the Programs
and Courses website:

You are not required to submit this program plan for approval. However, if you have any questions or
concerns about meeting degree requirements, especially when you are nearing the end of your
program, please contact the relevant Faculty for advice.
Please note: Students exiting early with one component of a dual degree must complete the single
degree requirements of that component. Students will then be required to follow the single degree
rules to complete the remaining component from that dual degree.
PROGRAM GUIDELINES
You must complete a total of #88 for both the program comprising 
#22 of compulsory courses from Part A of the BBus List (not including LAWS1100); and

#38 of compulsory courses from Part A of the LLB List; and

#12 for eithero
one major in Part B of the BBus List including LAWS5136 (#6 must be at level 3); or
o
Business elective courses from Part B of the BBus List including LAWS5136 (#6 must
be at level 3); and

#16 of elective courses from Parts B and/or C of the LLB List (not including LAWS5136).
Students who wish to satisfy the academic requirements for admission to the legal profession in
Queensland MUST include LAWS5215, LAWS5216 and LAWS5217 as part of the #16 of elective
courses for the LLB.

complete TOUR1000 from Part A Section 2. Students wishing to complete other majors may wish to replace
TOUR1000 with another course. Pre-requisite Part A Section 2 courses for other majors are listed in the Endnotes of the
BBus Program List. Please see your academic administration officer for assistance if required.
Note: This program requires a workload typical of a five and a half year program. Students may undertake an additional
course(s) in some semesters to complete requirements in five years. Students who do not wish to undertake #10 units in
Year 5, Semester 1 should utilise Summer Semester.
