Languages: Greek (mother tongue). Proficiency certificate in English Language. Grundstüffe certificate in
German Language. Currently taking lessons in French.
Computer Skills: MS Windows, Microsoft Office, Paint Shop Pro 7.0, Adobe Photoshop 7.0. Programming
in C and C++ and ability to utilise UNIX environment applications. Image processing packages ERMapper,
ENVI, PCI. GIS Packages: GEOSYS, MAP-INFO, ARC/VIEW. Basic Knowledge of Geo-Plot for
geophysical data. Clean driving license.
AWARDS
In October 1999 I received an award from SAAS towards my tuition fees for the MSc in Remote Sensing
and Image Processing and Applications.
In 1996 I received an award on academic merit from the University of Wales for an independent study tour
of Crete.
INTERESTS
In the past I have been a member of various sports clubs and I still practice on a regular basis basketball,
volleyball and sailing. I am very keen in outdoor activities like climbing and trekking and I enjoy
travelling. I am also a keen reader indulging on contemporary literature and I have a genuine interest on
modern music and dance.
