A highly motivated, results-oriented Medical Oncologist and Executive with leadership experience in Clinical Operations and
Healthcare Informatics. Experience leading large private practice group as chief executive and large, complex hospital organization
as chair of the information services council. Active in writing, speaking and serving on industry panels nationally on Next
Generation Cancer Care.
Leadership Experiences

Strategic planning – served as the chief executive for a large Dallas based private practice of up to 11 oncology providers
for 12 years to drive strategy and operations transformation. Have served on hospital and industry strategic advisory
panels.

Team Building – Recruited and provided leadership for successful management teams in outpatient clinic and hospital
environments.

Operations – Deployed a comprehensive transformation of outpatient oncology clinic to a paperless environment and
oversaw the successful addition of new imaging and radiation service lines

Teaching – trained and given core lectures to Internal Medicine Residents and received multiple teaching awards.

Clinical Practice – maintained a full time private practice . Voted as one of the Best Docs in Dallas in D Magazine by
physician peers

Informatics – worked as part of alpha site for the first Electronic Health Record in oncology. Have written and spoken
nationally on Next Generation Cancer Care. Have served as the chief executive for a company called HealthIT which
provided web and network services to over 100 clinical practices. Worked on the first expert decision support artificial
intelligence system in oncology
