New Research Services at MICROMON
Fast turn-around Next-generation Sequencing
We are pleased to announce that we have commenced a new sequencing service that will allow a
lower-priced entry point for smaller samples and smaller numbers of samples, a faster turnaround time and a variety of new applications. The service is based on the Illumina MiSeq
technology. Some features of the new service include:




Pricing starts at $550 per sample
Turn-around time of 7 days from receipt of your sample
We now offer 16S metagenomics, human exome sequencing and human custom amplicon
sequencing (384 amplicons from 64 individuals per run)
DNA sequencing sample requirements have been reduced to 100ng (down from 2000ng)
Custom Quantitative PCR
Quantitative real-time PCR is a powerful and cost-effective means of quantifying the relative
amount of your gene or transcript of interest within complex samples. Applications range from
evaluation of microarray and RNA-seq/transcriptomic data through to diagnostics and quantitative
investigations of gene expression.
