The Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship is a full tuition scholarship ($16,108 for 2015-2016). Scholarship recipients are expected to maintain a grade point average of 3.0 (B) or better. Academic records will be reviewed at the conclusion of each semester. The scholarship is renewable for 4 consecutive semesters (2 years). Scholarship consideration is given to transfer students who: College of Architecture and Design Apply for a fall semester Have completed an A.S. or A.A.S. degree the semester before beginning studies at NJIT. Associate’s degree must be completed on or before July 1, 2016. Have a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher Are a U.S. citizen or permanent resident Have a letter of recommendation from their Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society Advisor submitted on their behalf on or before July 1, 2016. Application There is no special application form required. Students must complete and submit an application for admission to NJIT along with the non-refundable application fee and proof of obtaining their associate’s degree. Current NJIT students and students who have completed a B.S. degree after obtaining their associate’s degree are ineligible for consideration. The scholarship recipient(s) will be notified by mail. The deadline to submit documents (proof of associate’s degree, letter of recommendation) is July 1, 2016.
