HW R5: 1920s and Great Depression Review

Hey, What’s This?

Over the next week, you will receive a review sheet covering each of the units we have studied in the second semester. Here are some important things to know about the review sheets:

 Each review sheet consists of three parts: o Key terms: you only need to write the date and definition – significance will likely be helpful, but it is optional. And yes, you do need to copy them again.

You may write these on flashcards or on a separate sheet of paper. o Short-answer questions: write out the answers to each question. 5 sentences per question is a good guideline. There is a very high probability that the short-answer questions on the review sheet will look very similar to the short-answer questions on the midterm exam. o Document analysis: annotate the document(s) as you see fit, then write out answers to the guiding questions.

 The materials in your binder will be extremely helpful in completing these review sheets. I would strongly recommend taking your binder home during the review week.

 Your review sheet is your ticket into class on the day it’s due. If you do not make a reasonable effort at completing the review sheet, you will earn a demerit for being unprepared for class, you will receive no homework credit, and you will use the class time to work on your review sheet, rather than participating in review activities.

 Is this a lot of work? Yes. Sorry. But I promise that if you complete these review sheets and participate actively in class this week, you will be in very good shape for the final exam.
