Prerequisite: None
This multi-skills course is designed for the advanced ESL student. In this course students
continue to expand and refine their English skills, proficiency, and vocabulary. Students
consolidate their understanding of English grammar and extend their awareness and
command of the English language, in particular problems of syntax, semantics, and oral
fluency.

1.
Given an in-class writing assignment based on personal experience, students will write
a group of five to seven sentences (formatted like a paragraph) that demonstrate basic
control of simple sentences and tenses.
2.
Given an in-class reading, students will use related vocabulary to give an oral
presentation based on one of the sub-topics of the reading.
