OBJECTIVE:
I would like to work with a organization that provides a solid platform to my
budding career and which has an intellectually challenging and stimulating work
environment. My aim is to see myself as an indispensable asset to the organization, which
I am working with.
WORK EXPERIENCE:
Organization: IBM-ISL(India Software Labs)
Role: Software Engg.
Experience: 2.5Yr's.
Job Description: Working as developer for IBM-AIX operating system. Currently working on
Reliability, Availability and Serviceability (RAS) feature of AIX.
Reliability is crucial in modern systems, even if it comes at the expense of system
performance. Slowness can be an acceptable trait of a system, but failure and data loss are almost
never acceptable. Downtime is equally unacceptable, lending to the obvious importance of
availability. Finally, serviceability contributes to both of the aforementioned traits, and should
help to reduce the ongoing cost of running the system.
Technologies : C, C++ and Shall Script.
Duration: September-2011 to Till now.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
M.E in Computer Science and Engineering(2010) from Indian Institute of Science,
Bangalore with CGPA : 5.1/8.
B.E in Computer Science and Engineering(2008) from University College of
Engineering, Osmania University, Hyderabad with 58.4%.
Intermediate(10+2) in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry from Board of Intermediate

with 80%.
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
Operating Systems
Languages
:
:
Unix, Windows.
C, C++, Core Java, SQL and Shall Scripting.
PROJECT DETAILS:
Title: Study of subset selection method for Combining classiffiers:
Domain: Data Mining.
Language of Implementation: C, C++ & Matlab.
Operating System : Unix.
Technique's used in project: K-Nearest Neighbor algorithm, Decision Tree, Support
Vector Machine, Neural Network, Naive Bayes, Majority voting and Information gain.
Team size: 1.
Duration of Project: 1 Year.
Description:
A major problem facing in online information services is how to index and supplement
large document collections with respect to a rich set of categories. To solve this problem
we develop efficient technique to combine the strength of well-known existing classifiers
such as K-Nearest Neighbors, Decision Trees, Bayesian methods, Neural Networks and
Support Vector Machines for classification. We use our idea to develop efficient
combination based as well as selection-based multiple classifier systems. Experiments
show that our approach for subset selected classifiers can maintain the accuracy achieved
by combining all the classifiers.
Application's:
1. Classifying online documents.
2. Spell checking - suggesting correct spelling.
3. Recommendation systems.
4. DNA sequencing, etc.
Title: A new approach to nearest neighbor computation:
Domain: Data Mining.
Language of Implementation: C, C++ & Matlab.
Operating System : Unix.
Technique's used in project: K-Nearest Neighbor algorithm.
Team size: 1.
Duration of Project: 6 Months.
Description:
K-Nearest Neighbors (K-NN) classification is one of the most fundamental
classification method to classify the online documents. We improve the performance of
K-NN algorithm by changing the metric to find the nearest neighbors used in this
algorithm. We introduce a new metric called (n+1)th dimension for each example.
Application's:
1. Classifying online documents.
2. Recommendation systems, etc.
PERSONAL SKILLS:
Comprehensive problem solving abilities,
Flexible and positive attitude,
Willingness to learn team facilitator hard worker.
SCHOLASTIC HONORS:
1. Secured All India 38th rank in GATE 2008.
2. Secured AP-State 125th rank in EAMCET 2002.
3. Got best Student award in School.
4. Got best Echo-club leader award in school from District Collector of Warangal.
EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES:
1. Volunteered for The IISc Centenary Conference, IISc 2008.
2. Active Member of Student Council IISc.
3. Event organizer in school and college annual day functions and other technical events.
