The author captured my attention quickly with the introduction of a widely assorted cast
of characters. What a mix of goods souls, opportunists, those possessed by greed, the rather sinister. Such a cast of characters could surely lead to mystery, suspense and surprises. That is, indeed, the way in which the story unfolded. Like my favourites among the
novels by authors such as Dan Brown and Jeffry Archer, “The Red Manor” is a book
which I could not put down easily once I began to read it. I found it to be a good read.

I read your book earlier this week and although the genre is not one I normally read, I
found it quite enjoyable. I like that twist, where you seem to have solved the case and go
immediately to the flashback and lead the reader back to more surprises.
I would've liked to have had the love interest between the detective and his neighbor
revved up a little but then I am 70 and feel that at their ages they should have just been
getting into a relationship with more soul.
