Readers’ Corner The Red Manor A wonderful page-turner....your to-do list will have to wait once you start this novel. R Long, London, Ontario “The Red Manor captured my heart, as I cheered for the main characters while they bravely faced tragedy, a family curse, and a cast of disreputable villains. Romance, suspense, and unexpected twists and turns, what more could a reader want from a novel?" Rebecca St. Pierre, reporter and editor, London, Ontario Hi Irene, I finished reading your book, The Red Manor. I just wanted to thank you for giving it to me and let you know how much I enjoyed it. After I started reading it, I found it hard to put down! Thank you! Phyllis Lee, Sun Lakes, Arizona The Red Manor by Rene Natan The author captured my attention quickly with the introduction of a widely assorted cast of characters. What a mix of goods souls, opportunists, those possessed by greed, the rather sinister. Such a cast of characters could surely lead to mystery, suspense and surprises. That is, indeed, the way in which the story unfolded. Like my favourites among the novels by authors such as Dan Brown and Jeffry Archer, “The Red Manor” is a book which I could not put down easily once I began to read it. I found it to be a good read. Anne Bode, Professor Emeritus with The University of Western Ontario, London, Canada The Collage A beautifully executed pulse-pounder that doesn’t take the easy way out. Throughout original. John Pellican, author, Conqueror die A super page-turner ingeniously plotted. Rene Natan has taken a fascinating premise, put it together with a great storyline and wild characters to craft a tryly amazing novel. Michael O’Sullivan, NYPD (ret) officer A rare work of fiction: Hounting, poetic and intriguing. A sexy and romantic thriller. I could not put this book down. Janey Campbell, Kincardine, Ontario In Operation Woman in Black Rene Natan magnificently blends suspense, romance and action in one captivating novel. Luisa Grabini, Milano, Italy The plot keeps you reading and reading, to find out how Conrad Tormez will outsmart his mortal enemies and keep them away from her beloved, handicapped daughter. Glen Turner I read your book earlier this week and although the genre is not one I normally read, I found it quite enjoyable. I like that twist, where you seem to have solved the case and go immediately to the flashback and lead the reader back to more surprises. I would've liked to have had the love interest between the detective and his neighbor revved up a little but then I am 70 and feel that at their ages they should have just been getting into a relationship with more soul. Ruth, rk.troughton@SYMPATICO.CA Mountains of Dawn is a page-turner, with well-outlined characters. It’s a compelling mystery and a delicate love story. May Mills, London, Ontario Natan’s novels are among the best. Suspense, twists, romantic situations and adventure offer hours of very enjoyable reading! Hedi Kummer, Besazio, Switzerland What a wonderful tale you weave. Bill and I both found “Mountains of Dawn” to be a real pageturner.
