This is the fourth conference to be held to honor the late Professor Esen Ozkarahan
(1940-1999) and his outstanding contributions to databases and information systems and it
draws on the success of ADVIS 2000, ADVIS 2002, and ADVIS 2004 that was held in a
beautiful Aegean city of Izmir that is in close proximity to many archeological sites.

SUBMISSIONS DETAILS
Proceedings of the previous ADVIS conferences were published by Springer in LNCS
(Vol.1909, Vol. 2457, and Vol. 3261, respectively). Proceedings of ADVIS 2006 is planned
to be published by Springer in LNCS series. Authors are invited to submit research and
application papers, not exceeding 5000 words (10 pages) representing original, previously
unpublished work. Authors must submit papers only in LATEX in the LNCS format
(http://www.springer.de/comp/lncs/authors.html) using online submission
http://www.easychair.org/ADVIS-2006/submit/. All manuscripts will be reviewed by three
members of the program committee based on originality, significance, technical soundness,
and clarity of exposition.
