“Duck Daze” by Jim Killen

Jim Killen highlights the puppy days of a retrieving crew in “Duck Daze”. The playful
image relates to many dog owners by showcasing five Retriever breeds: Golden, Yellow
Labrador, Chocolate Labrador, Black Labrador and Chesapeake Bay.
“Just Us” by Ralph McDonald

Moving away from his traditional portrait Greenwing Series prints, Ralph McDonald
narrates the story with a landscape in “Just Us”. The image shows a young boy, his
father and Lab heading back to camp after a successful morning in the blind.
“Wind Swept-Canvasbacks” by Jim Killen

An exceptional skill and love of wildlife are translated by Jim Killen in the image “Wind
Swept-Canvasbacks”. In this work, Killen masterfully depicts a flock of Canvasbacks in
a stormy scene. Over twenty Killen pieces have appeared in the Ducks Unlimited
National Art Package since 1981.
“First Flight” by Peter Mathios

“First Flight” is the first showing for Peter Mathios in the Ducks Unlimited National Art
Package. The serene early morning scene shows a flock of Mallards surveying the misty
marsh below. Childhood hunting experiences influenced Mathios’ pursuit of wildlife
painting and drawing. After receiving his art degree, Mathios moved to Oregon where he
now paints full time using the rich, diverse Willamette Valley as his inspiration.

A trio of Wood Ducks is “Cleared for Landing” over a wooded creek in Richard
Plasschaert’s fourth appearance in Ducks Unlimited’s National Art Package. Accuracy

Commemorating 70 years of Wetlands Conservation, Browning and Ducks Unlimited
present the Silver Hunter 70th Anniversary Shotgun. This 12 gauge, semi-automatic has a
highly polished 28” vent ribbed barrel with three choke tubes (IC, M, and F). 3” chamber
for a variety of shells, from light 2 ¾” field loads to 3” magnum. This beautiful shotgun
features a custom matte nickel plated receiver that has the image from the Ducks
Unlimited 70th Anniversary print “Sharing the Habitat” by David Maass laser engraved in
gold. The butt stock and forearm are made from high grade walnut with a gloss finish,
additional features include a gold plated trigger, with a black re-coil pad. The DU
duckhead logo is proudly displayed on the trigger guard, and has special DU serial
numbering. Complete with a black Browning hard case with the DU Logo screened in
