language pre-school services. The area development officer organises in-service training for Naíonra staff during
each term, initial training for new staff is also organised each year through Irish in Dublin or/and the provinces.
FNT co-operates with accredited training organisations to provide FETAC levels 5 and 6 (CDBO) and other
accredited training as necessary.
FNT also operates a quality assurance programme (scéim ardchaighdeán) on an ongoing basis, in Irish medium
services.
