Only non-Nepali citizen to date to receive this award in
recognition of contribution since 1995 to the development of
Bhaktapur Cancer Hospital (www.ncrs.org.np/bch.htm) as a
multi-disciplinary cancer care centre and in particular the
successful acquisition and installation of a new radiotherapy
treatment facility with on-going commitment to training of local
staff.
