1. Proof of validity period
Copy of the valid certificate or auditor card for the standard concerned (VDA 6.1, 6.2 or 6.4)
2. Proof of audit experience and training
External (3 audits – audit days see VDA 6)
Internal (6 audits – audit days see VDA 6)
Please list conducted audits for the standard concerned on a separate sheet (Date, audit
days, standard, organization/department).
ISO/TS 16949 audits will only be accepted for VDA 6.1.
If a minimum of one third of the required audits and audit days for the standard concerned can
be proven, in that case additional ISO 9001 audits in the relevant branch can be recognized
as an alternative
and
Attendance at requalification training VDA 6.x at VDA QMC
(mandatory for qualifications which become unvalid by the 1st of July 2010)
and
Proof of attendance at training state-of-the-art (e.g. attendance at one VDA QMC auditor’s
symposium as a minimum)
or
by the following proofs for the standard concerned, if the number of audits and audit days
can only be proven by ISO 9001 audits
Attendance at a VDA 6.1 Training at VDA QMC (or a partner, who has a licence from
VDA QMC) or re-qualification ISO/TS 16949 with successful examination
Attendance at a VDA 6.2 Training at VDA QMC (or a partner, who has a licence from
VDA QMC)
Attendance at a VDA 6.4 Training at VDA QMC (or a partner, who has a licence from
VDA QMC)
Note:

Participation in a VDA 6.x training without examination will only be recognized
once for the extension of the qualification

by the following proofs for the standard concerned, if the number of audits and audit days
is not sufficient.
Attendance at a VDA 6.1 Training at VDA QMC (or a partner, who has a licence from
VDA QMC) with successful examination or re-qualification ISO/TS 16949 with successful
examination
Attendance at a VDA 6.2 Training at VDA QMC (or a partner, who has a licence from
VDA QMC) with successful examination
Attendance at a VDA 6.4 Training at VDA QMC (or a partner, who has a licence from
VDA QMC) with successful examination
Note:
Attendance at a VDA 6.x training with examination will only be recognized
once for the extension of the qualification. Afterwards an initial qualification is
mandatory.
