The IBTS is currently recruiting an ADON / Permanent Full Time / based in the
Nursing Department NBC.
Person Specification / Selection Criteria:




Registered on the live register with The Nursing and Midwifery Board of
Ireland
Degree/Diploma in Management.
MSC in Health Service Management or related.
Five years management experience
Essential Criteria:







Driving Licence and Car
Computer literate and working knowledge of Excel (Knowledge of data
base management), PowerPoint etc.
Worked within the IR agenda.
Experience of managing change in practice.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of working in a quality management environment.
Working hours flexible to meet service need and work away from base.
The salary scale attached to the post is the Assistant Director of Nursing scale
€52,059 to €62,534 (incl. LSI) per annum. (Less 10% for new entrants to the
public sector) Entry point onto the salary scale is dependent upon relevant public
sector experience.
