Regional Needs Project Upload Form/Study
Guide
Instructions: Use this form/study guide to become familiar with the information
necessary for submitting a project on the Project Upload Form. Submitted projects can be
either conceptual or ready for implementation. This information will be used for planning
purposes only, as described below. Project proponents that wish to submit projects for Prop. 84
Implementation funding will be asked to provide additional information during the evaluation
and ranking process.
You are required to fill in/complete fields/questions marked with a red asterisk (*).Questions
without an (*) are optional. Completing as many fields as possible will allow us to better
understand the regional project needs and priorities.
Background: The purpose of this Project Upload Form is twofold: (1) To develop a list of
regional project needs for inclusion in future planning and funding documents; and (2) To
provide an analysis of the regional needs to the California Department of Water Resources
(DWR)..
Information provided to DWR will be in summary form and is important in that, the more
information provided by the Inyo-Mono IRWMP region, the more we can continue to make sure
that our needs are explicitly presented to policy makers in Sacramento. This information will be
used for planning purposes only.
On the actual online Project Upload Form if you have not filled out all required fields/questions
and hit the Submit button at the bottom, you will see this page again with an error message at
the top. Incomplete required fields will be highlighted in red box like the one around this
paragraph. If your submission is successful, you will get a message indicating so at the top of
this webpage, after hitting the submit button.

RELATION TO REGIONAL PROGRAMS
The section below was designed to help us understand how your project relates to the Inyo-Mono Regional
Planning Priorities. We know that you may not be as familiar with some of these larger planning priorities, but
request you review the questions and provide, to the best of your knowledge, how your project may benefit or
complement these planning priorities. THERE ARE NO WRONG ANSWERS, these questions simply provide
baseline information to State and Regional Water Leaders so they can better understand the needs of the
Inyo-Mono region.
Inyo-Mono IRWMP Regional Priorities
The section below gathers information relevant to the Inyo-Mono IRWM Regional Planning Priorities,
including detailed information about your project's relevance to Inyo-Mono Objectives and Resource
Management Strategies (RMS). Each of the Objectives are numbered below and followed by their supporting
RMSs . IF YOUR PROJECT DOES NOT ADDRESS ANY RMSs UNDER THE STATED OBJECTIVE,
PLEASE USE THE "Objective Does Not Apply" response at the end of the list.
Select PRIMARY Evaluation Category for your project (Inyo-Mono Project Bin) *Select only one best fit
project bin for your project
Select SECONDARY Evaluation Category for your project (Inyo-Mono Project Bin) Select SECONDARY
category (if applicable)
Inyo-Mono Regional Objectives and Resource Management Strategies Addressed/ Utilized by Project
(check all that apply): * All questions in this section are required* Respond to the best of your ability.
