and Mary Jane Miller (nee Roden). John, a brickworker, of 14 Tower Hill, Acrefair married
Catherine (Kitty) Williams 30th September 1939, in St. Collen’s Llangollen. John was Fusilier
No, 419184 with the 7th Battalion the Royal Welch Fusiliers. In January 1945 the village of
Hotton was the western limit of the great German counter offensive in the Ardennes. On 5 th
January 1945 John James Miller died, and was buried in grave II. A. 6., Hotton War Cemetery,
Hotton, Luxembourg.
