Ten or more years HR Experience (applicant statement/summary – please utilise as much space as required in the application, dot points are acceptable) Minimum of five years in a senior position demonstrating a record of achievement in strategic HR management and leadership (applicant statement/summary– please utilise as much space as required in the application, dot points are acceptable). Page 2 of 6 AHRI FELLOWSHIP APPLICATION SUBMISSION 2.2 EDUCATION CRITERIA 2.2.1 QUALIFICATIONS Applicants for Fellowship are required to have completed an AHRI accredited or relevant postgraduate qualification or have equivalent knowledge, skills and experience. Applicants with formal qualifications - please attach copies of your formal qualification(s) to this application and list qualifications completed below. AHRI accredited or relevant postgraduate qualification (please list provider, qualification and completion date) eg Professional Diploma of Human Resources, AHRI, Completed December 2013 2.2.2 EQUIVALENT KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE (NB: Section 2.2.2 is only required where the application does not have a post graduate qualification.) An assessment of equivalent knowledge, skills and experience will also be made against the AHRI Professional Recognition Framework professional standards required at FAHRI level. The Fellowship Application Guide provides an overview of each of the professional standards and examples of evidence which would be expected from an individual at this level. Applicants are asked to make a statement on each professional standard to demonstrate how they have met the standard. Business Driven – applicant statement & evidence Strategic Architect – applicant statement & evidence Page 3 of 6 AHRI FELLOWSHIP APPLICATION SUBMISSION Stakeholder Manager – applicant statement & evidence Workforce Designer – applicant statement & evidence Credible Activist – applicant statement & evidence Expert Practitioner – applicant statement & evidence Change & Culture Agent – applicant statement & evidence Page 4 of 6 AHRI FELLOWSHIP APPLICATION SUBMISSION 2.3 DEMONSTRATED CONTRIBUTION TO THE HR PROFESSION Applicants for Fellowship should provide the following evidence of contribution to the HR profession Evidence of contribution to the HR profession can include, but is not limited to, nonwork related activities such as presenting/lecturing/tutoring at conferences & universities, involvement with groups external to your workplace in which your HR expertise is utilised (eg business/social/sporting), significant involvement with HR research projects, volunteering with AHRI, writing and contributing to academic papers and/or significant HR experience in complex and challenging HR leadership roles with demonstrated considerable achievements in establishing new approaches or introducing innovations that affect other organisations thus contribute to the profession. “In the case of AHRI members in the armed services or those serving our nation abroad, broader contributions to the Human Resources profession will have regard to actions and activities designed to advance the personal and professional interests of their service colleagues and/or members of either local or international communities”. It is advisable for applicants to source at least 1 reference from a party external to existing workplace. Please attach two written references to this application.
