Discover Auckland/Tarltons
See first-hand why Auckland is known as the City of Sails as you enjoy a trip over the Harbour Bridge. Visit the
famous Auckland landmark of Mount Eden, a dormant volcano whose summit offers excellent panoramic views of the
city and harbours. From this fantastic vantage point you will see evidence of Auckland's volcanic history, the most
significant being the youngest volcano of Rangitoto Island at the entrance to the Waitemata harbour. The sightseeing
tour also takes in the Auckland Domain, the city's oldest park which is situated on a 62,000 year old volcano. In
addition to these natural features the city sights tour also takes in the trendy shopping area of Parnell Village with its
historical buildings that have been transformed into boutiques, antique, craft and specialty shops.
Your tour will then take you along the scenic waterfront route of Tamaki Drive before returning to Downtown. At
12.30pm, you will be collected by Great Sights coach taken to Kelly Tarltons Antarctic Encounter and Underwater
World (for an extra $50 charge they currently offer a shark cage dive at this location, this is where I meant I would like
to take that adventure; you can reserve a spot when you are there

See some of Victoria's spectacular coastal scenery and beach resorts along the Great Ocean Road. Travel over the
Westgate Bridge to Geelong and through the holiday resort of Torquay.
See Australia's famous surf beach, Bells Beach, before travelling to Anglesea. Pass through the coastal towns of
Lorne and Wye River and stop at scenic Apollo Bay for lunch (own expense). Travel to the Otway National Park and
continue to Port Campbell National Park where we see the amazing 12 Apostles, remnants of London Bridge and the
Loch Ard Gorge, the site of many historical shipwrecks. Return to Melbourne at approximately 7.30pm .

Manly Beach for a wonderful stroll along The Corso to see the beach that had made Manly famous. Along the way to
Manly, you will view Darling Harbour and then cross the Sydney Harbour Bridge. Stop at Milsons Point for
spectacular views of the Opera House and Harbour Bridge. Enjoy views from Seaforth Lookout and stop at Arabanoo
Lookout for a panoramic view of the Pacific Ocean. Enjoy your time at Manly beach before heading back to Sydney
via the exclusive and trendy suburbs of Neutral Bay and Mosman. Conclude your morning tour at either King Street
Wharf or Circular Quay. Next enjoy a fantastic Captain Cook luncheon cruise on the world’s most famous harbour,

Your tour departs Sydney at 8.15am from the APT Departure Point, Coach Interchange, Lower Level, Star City
Pirrama Road.
Discover the spectacular Blue Mountains and see native wildlife whilst you explore World Heritage-listed Blue
Mountains National Park. This rugged and beautiful region forms part of the Great Dividing Range, linking tropical
north to temperate south, while dividing coastal cities from the vast Outback.
Pass by Homebush Bay, site of the 2000 Olympics. Discover Leura village, a delightful blend of groomed gardens
and quaint shops, enjoy free time to wander the streets of Leura. Next, we stop at Echo Point and see the famous
Three Sisters rock formation and hear the ancient Aboriginal legends of this impressive rock formation. Arrive at
Scenic World and enjoy a two-course lunch with tea, coffee or soft drink, at the revolving restaurant at Scenic World,
with amazing views over the Three Sisters. Join the optional Blue Mountain rides - Scenic Railway, Cableway or
Skyway (own expense). These rides are a great way to see the steep valleys, canyons and Three Sisters rock
formation. Enjoy a short stop at Narrowneck and Cahill Lookouts for impressive mountain scenery. Next we enjoy an
afternoon encounter at Featherdale Park and have your photo taken with a cuddly koala, see kangaroos, wombats,
dingoes and cute little fairy penguins. Our last stop will be at Homebush Bay, the venue of the Sydney 2000 Olympic
Games. Here, you have the opportunity to catch the rivercat ferry back to Sydney and enjoy a relaxing cruise along
the Parramatta River (own expense). If you do not wish to join the ferry, the coach will arrive in Sydney at
approximately 5.45pm. Hotel drop offs to most city hotels are available; your Coach Captain will ask you at the end of
the day where you would like to be dropped off.
