GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS: 1. The SSC-N21 shall be a minidome color camera, utilizing a 1/3-type EXview HAD CCD II image sensor (976 x 582 effective pixels) and producing a horizontal resolution of 650 TV lines. 2. The SSC-N21 shall require a minimum scene illumination of 0.15 lx in color and 0.10 lx in B/W (F1.2, 50 IRE, AGC On), and 0.08 lx in color and 0.03 lx in B/W (F1.2, 30 IRE, AGC On). 3. The SSC-N21 shall have an electrical Day/Night feature allowing it to operate in day mode (Color) and night mode (B/W). Switching between modes shall be accomplished automatically by sensing ambient luminance level. 4. The SSC-N21 shall have an AGC mode of up to 32 dB in color and 38 dB in B/W, which is ON/OFF selectable through the dipswitch. 5. The SSC-N21 shall utilize Effio-ETM Digital Signal Processing (DSP) to provide high stability and reliability. 6. The SSC-N21 shall have an integral 3.7X (2.8 to 10.5 mm) F1.2 to F2.6, DC auto-iris type vari-focal lens. 7. The SSC-N21 shall have a secondary video output located on the front of the camera unit, to allow for monitoring while adjusting the field of view and focus. The secondary video output shall be via a phono jack type connector. B. CAMERA LENS SPECIFICATIONS: 1. The SSC-N21 shall have an integrated 3.7X DC auto-iris type varifocal lens. 2. The minimum object distance shall be 0.3 m (0.98 ft). 3. Focal length shall be 2.8 to 10.5 mm with field of view coverage of 99.5° to 27.4°. 4. The aperture range for the lens shall be F1.2 to F2.6. 5. The lens shall have zoom and focus adjustment levers and both the levers shall have a locking screw. C. VIDEO-ELECTRICAL SPECIFICATIONS: 1. The SSC-N21 input power shall be a power voltage of either AC 24V ± 10% 50 Hz or DC 12V ±10%. 2. The power connection shall be by means of a 2-pin mating pressure fit screw-terminals accessible via pigtail, to connect to an external power supply of AC 24V 50 Hz or DC 12V. 3. The scanning system shall be 625 lines, 50 fields/25 frames, 2:1 interlace. 4. The SSC-N21 shall meet the PAL standard. 5. The SSC-N21 shall have an ATR-Lite (Adaptive Tone Reproduction Lite) function to bring out details in dark and bright portions of a scene with high contrast so that subject visibility can be improved. This function shall be ON/OFF selectable through the dipswitch. 6. The SSC-N21 shall have a choice of two white balance modes: ATW (Auto Tracing White Balance) and ATW-Pro, which are features that automatically adjust the camera white balance to adapt to changes in lighting conditions. The SSC-N21 shall provide an extremely wide ATW range of 2000 K to 10000 K and an ATW-Pro range of 2500 K to 6000 K, allowing adjustment-free operation under a variety of lighting conditions. The mode shall be selectable through the dipswitch. 7. The SSC-N21 shall have an intelligent backlight compensation (iBLC) capability which compensates for exposure levels in dark scenes to improve subject visibility. The iBLC mode shall be ON/OFF selectable through the dipswitch. VIDEO SURVEILLANCE REMOTE DEVICES AND SENSORS 28 23 29 - 2 8. The SSC-N21 shall support an NR (Noise Reduction) capability, which is ON/OFF selectable through the dipswitch. 9. Camera synchronization shall be selectable either Internal or External AC (50 Hz) line lock through the dipswitch, with vertical phase adjustment capability of ± 90 degrees. 10. The camera shall automatically switch to internal sync mode when DC 12V is applied, regardless of the sync mode setting. 11. The composite video output shall be 1.0 V peak-to-peak @ 75 ohms, sync negative. 12. The signal-to-noise ratio shall be more than 55dB (AGC Off). 13. The SSC-N21 power consumption shall be 1.5 watts maximum. D. MECHANICAL SPECIFICATIONS: 1. The lens shall have lock-down lever screws for both zoom and focus. 2. The SSC-N21 shall be designed to be mounted directly on a ceiling or wall with two screws (not supplied). 3. The SSC-N21 lens shall have a three-way hinge allowing for easy pan, tilt and rotation adjustments after installation. The adjustable range shall be panning 355 degrees, tilting ±77 degrees, and swivel rotating 350 degrees. 4. The SSC-N21 shall come with a dome mask with aperture slit, such that only the lens viewing area is exposed via the lower clear dome cover, which can be rotated to accommodate the lens orientation. 5. The SSC-N21 shall have dipswitches to configure following modes or functions; camera synchronization, AGC, iBLC, ATR-Lite, NR, white balance and electrical Day/Night, and an adjustment screw for vertical phases on the camera unit, allowing for easy set-up. 6. The SSC-N21 analog video output shall be a BNC type connector accessible via pigtail. 7. The SSC-N21 dimensions shall be approximately 4 7/8 inches (Dia.) x 3 1/2 inches (H), 121.6 mm (Dia.) x 86.5 mm (H). 8. The SSC-N21 shall weigh approximately 11.3 oz (320 g).
