V.) … is one of the most famous writers in the world. He was born in 1564 in Stratford-uponAvon. He lived in London too He wrote 37 plays including Hamlet, Romeo and Juliet, A
Midsummer´s Night Dream etc. Even today you can see his plays in theatres all over the
world.
III.) …was born in Liverpool in October 1940. In 1960, with Paul McCartney and George
Harrison, he formed a group called The Beatles. Later Ringo Star joined them as a drummer.
They became the most successful group ever. When The Beatles broke up he continued his
solo career. In December 1980 he was shot and died at the age of 40.
VIII.) … was born in 1961. She came from a rich and famous family. Her life changed when
she married Prince Charles, the Queen´s son. They had two sons, William and Harry. .She
helped lots of charities, especially for children and victims of AIDS and land mines. People
loved her very much. But her marriage was not happy and in 1996 she got divorced. In 1997
she died in a car crash in Paris.

much but Catherine had only one daughter. He fell in love with a younger woman, Ann
Boleyn. So he divorced Catherine and married Ann. As the Pope did not agree with his

wife – during his life he married 6 wives and two of them were killed by his soldiers.

country at that time and the Queen and Parliament worked well. She died in 1603 at the age of
