Scholarship Fund Overview This is the APAPULCF General Scholarship Award This Memorial Scholarship is named to honor the memory, service and dedication of a member of Pi Upsilon Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated. Darin Edward Posey, a young man, made a powerful impact upon many people; young and old, and without regard to race. Darin was a product of a historical black college, North Carolina A & T and his pride for his Alma Mater was only matched by his love for God first, his family and his Fraternity. Marian A.Williams peacefully entered eternal rest on Sunday, December 4, 2005, in Clinton, Maryland. In the District of Columbia she embarked on a dynamic career of community service. She was a member of the Area Planning Council that was responsible for many recreational, health and educational facilities throughout S.E. Washington. For thirteen years she touched lives and shaped minds in the D.C. Public Schools System. A single parent. To this end, this scholarship will assist college or community college bound children of single parents who are the caretakers and primary financial support for their (higher education). Infotech Solutions, Inc. a Washington, D.C., for profit company will provide funding for a scholarship for a student pursuing their first bachelor’s degree in criminal justice.
