a. M. Sc. (H) Degree Programs

Candidates possessing B.Sc. (Hons) Agric/AH or equivalent
(HEC recognized) degree in the respective field of
specialization with a minimum CGPA of 2.5/4.0 (under
semester system) or 2nd division with at least 56% marks
(under annual system).
Minimum score of 50 is required in GRE Subject Test.
b. PhD Program.
i)
Candidates possessing M.Sc (Hons) Agric/Animal
Husbandry/M.Phil degrees in the respective field of
specialization with a minimum CGPA of 3.0/4.0 under
semester system from a HEC recognized University
ii)
Minimum score of 50 is required in (GAT) General.

HOW TO APPLY
1. Candidates are required to send their application on prescribed GRE Subject Test Application Form duly signed and stamped by
the respective Head of the Department. Please deposit Fee of Rs. 650/- (non refundable/non transferable) in Account No. 7940-8
Habib Bank Limited Agricultural University Branch Peshawar. Application Form is available on NTS website. www.nts.org.pk
Applications form & deposit slip must be submitted to the office of Director Advanced Studies & Research no later than
14 July, 2010.
2. Candidates who qualify GRE (Subject) test and have completed their degree requirements shall apply on prescribed admission forms
available after 26 July, 2010, from Habib Bank Limited, Agricultural University Branch Peshawar on payment of Rs. 250/- which shall
then be returned to the Directorate of Advanced Studies & Research office by 31 July, 2010.
3. Incomplete admission forms shall NOT be entertained.
Note: Students, whose results are awaited, can also apply. However GRE (GAT General) is required for admission
to PhD.
