Nimbus 4 Agena D stage fragments, 374 pieces, 125 have decayed
Fragment NL decayed by Norad, but still in orbit, based on the last elements from OIG.
This was the second Agena D stage to fragment in a span of only 12 months. The event occurred 1970 Oct 17 at
successful deployment of the Nimbus 4 payload. Twice in 1985, again in 1986, once in 1991, and twice in 1995
fragments, accounting for an additional 16 new debris objects between the 6 sub-events.

Cosmos 374 fragments, 101 pieces, 80 have decayed
In SSR 45-1 the ID’s for 1970 89 BK and BY were swapped with 1968 97 CQ and CY
Cosmos 374 was launched on a two-revolution rendezvous with Cosmos 373. After a close approach, Cosmos 374 continued on before its warhead was intentionally
fired 1970 Oct 23 at 15:13 UT near 22ºS 217ºE. Cosmos 374 was part of test series begun with Cosmos 249. Considerable cross-cataloging of Cosmos 374 and
Cosmos 375 debris occurred.
