Easy
 The tests were quite easy because it wasn’t
only a question of grammatical and vocabulary
but we were tested for all what we knew:
comprehension, talking, etc.
 Texts
 oral exercises(like pronunciation ones)
 listening exercises
 I am not personally able to judge the difficulty
of the lesson (and it is a good clue to who I
am)…
 Nothing was easy, I wouldn’t chose it if it wasn’t
the case.

Hard
 Most of the exercises in the Progress were very
hard!
 Especially when there were gap-texts;
personally, I found it too difficult!
 Some points of grammar
 Gap text (it depends)
 Same as for easy
 The passive
 The idea of speaking English is quite difficult at
the first step –we’re all more or less shy- but it
has been done in a good “spirit” and I now
recognise that it has been useful.
 The worst point for me is perhaps the
conjugation. (There are too much different
tenses and variations – progressive, passivefor my little blond brain.)

Interesting
 I enjoyed talking with my partner about our life,
what we like, etc.
 The groups working were very nice!
Boring
 I disliked some work that we done alone:
grammatical exercises, especially!
 groups work(discussions)
 “big” texts, like “lamb to the slaughter” or the
”safari inc.” thing.
 Song of Richard T. (so funny)
 Work in group
 Oral test
 Discussion in groups (more interesting than in
pairs)
 Writing text + story
 listening exercises
 Read a story!
 I think some oral activities you proposed (we
did not have the choice, but it is a polite way to
put it in) were really interesting
 Stories, songs are very interesting and permit
to learn a lot of words
 Everything was more or less interesting but the
main subjects that satisfied my curiosity are
maybe the topics about global warming and
relationships.
 some exercises(like the one where we must
give orders to our group)

Listening exercises, where we can see different
points of view from different cultures
 Oral-speaking activities
 The activities with all the class (like when we
were doing things looking bizarre on pictures!!)
 Be put in situations that allow us to try to find
easily a way to tell our opinion: oral activities
are really essential to begin to take the habit to
think in a way that permits us to communicate
orally easier and more fluent.
 That was really interesting to work with the
“Spip”, because we could exchange document
and it bring a larger variety of ways to work on
English.
 Almost everything

 Stories
 Speaking
 Some topics of oral exercises
 Working out of the book (about stories, song
etc.)
 Oral Activities
 Informations in some texts
D:\106738251.doc
 Exercise in the book
 A sound of Thunder (only the story…)
 just read alone the theory (I think we have to
discuss it )
 grammar
 Grammar, but you surely have nothing to do
with the fact that grammar is boring
 Grammar, but it’s useful I know!
 The long explanation about a subject that
doesn’t interest me at all could be extremely
boring and I’m sure you know it.
 Except that point, there were nothing
“extremely boring”; it depends on my mind.
 Working in book
 Prefixes
 “Talking for a minute”
 We always do little exercises in pairs… I don’t
like them
 Grammar
 Too long speaking activities or exercises
 To fill the gap-texts.
 I don’t think at anything that could be really
boring.
 What is hard
 When we’re not doing anything
 Written texts in class
 Sometimes, working in the book
 Grammar

Useful
 I think it is very useful to talk so much, to have
conversation with our partners and to learn the
well pronunciation and what is the best word
that we should use.
 Make sure that we understand different texts
were a great idea, too! I really enjoyed the texts
comprehension!
Pointless
 I think the initial exercises about the use of the
dictionary weren’t so useful.
 Listening exercises
 some exercises(like the one where we must
give orders to our group)
 just read alone the theory (I think we have to
discuss it )
 “I spay with my little eye” this game is stupid!!!

It’s great to write texts; we should learn how to
write poesies! Don’t you think that it’s a good
idea?
As I said before, everything was useful but I
particularly appreciate the opportunity to write a
lot of text and in the same way, to improve my
abilities in this activity (I think I’m doing less
stupid mistakes).

 Nothing strikes me, wich is a good sign...
 I have no precise idea (but don’t take it as a
compliment, I am sure that there are a lot of
them.)
 Work about photos
 gap text
 Taking notes
 “We’re gonna do it a little differently from what
the book suggests”. This sentence became
aggressive to me! Please, try to find another
one to express this idea!!!
 Some exercises
 Nothing!
 None (as far as I remember, so all would be
OK)
 Work about photos
 Some exercises in the books for which the
answers are based on feelings…
 Exercises on gypsies that we’ve done at the
beginning of the year

We should have had more …
 Time to do what we have begun.
We should have had less…

ways to make us know the grammar).

Good question: I don’t know
Texts to write!
More time to make an exercise or to have a
discussion on one of the topics. I can’t bear
when you, every time at an inopportune
moment, interrupt us. It really makes me edgy.
When we are working, keep cool and let us do
it. Please.

Other…
 I really dislike to be so often interrupted in what we are doing. Because it is difficult to stop what we
do and much more to restart it! I think you should better give us ALL the informations at the
beginning of the exercises
 It will be interesting if we could have pen friends and if we could meet them. It would be a great

My last name is “Matthey-de-L’Endroit”
We generally have sufficiency time to do the exercices ! That’s really good !
Happy holidays !
I loved to work on the story “a sound of thunder”, it was really great to see that such a complicate
story was understandable for me, as a beginner in English!
I think English lessons are quite interesting and varied.
I really enjoyed the idea of drawing our flat and imagine ourselves in the future.
Maybe it can be a good idea more to work with some books or novels (for example to improve our
vocabulary).
Subjects proposed in the book are good chosen and interesting.
I think you’re a really good teacher and I had a lot of chance to have you teaching me things for one
year!! Thank you for all!!
I’m happy to note that the quantity of English homework is quite regular and reasonable (not too
much, but enough to study this useful language correctly and make progress).
That was a bit disturbing to not have any determinate vocabulary document to learn. It’s not too bad
that it provide us just a bit of own work more to work on our side to continue to learn constructive
and useful vocabulary, but I’m definitely convinced that it’s really important to have any document to
rest on. We had the document bought at the beginning of the year, but I don’t really know if it
corresponds very well to the chapter that we studied in the “Cambridge” book…
The lessons are usually varied and not boring at all because we are really active and we can speak
quite a lot. But, the written parts in class are quite long… I like very much the subjects proposed by
the book because they are actual and closely related to what is going on in our life
As I often say, I like potatoes (as this feedback is totally private you probably won’t find who I am,
ahahahahahah)
