This full-day workshop is NEW this year. Districts often like to know how others have made
RtI implementation work in their own schools. If we can hear what works in other places,
how implementation issues were solved, and how obstacles were overcome – then we can
begin to think creatively about our own efforts. Staff from schools across the area will be
invited to share something they do well. These mini-presentations will provide a sampling of
what works across the area, allowing everyone attending to make contacts, ask questions,
and generate new ideas to take home. Again, team work-time will be an important aspect of
this workshop.
One of the foundations of RtI systems is teaming. For greatest impact in implementation,
schools and districts are strongly encouraged to send a team of participants to these inservice presentations.
A maximum of 60 participants can attend, so please register early. There is a registration
fee of $25.00 per training for each participant from outside the OCEC region.
