Replacement of the batteries
This organiser is powered by 2 lithium batteries. When the batteries wear down, a dim display will be shown. At
this time, replace the batteries with a pair of new one. Remember not to remove the 2 batteries at the same time as
the data stored will be erased. You should do it one by one. Follow the steps below to replace them.
1) Remove the battery door on the bottom of the unit.
2) Tilt the first battery with a narrow round-head tool.
3) Install a new battery.
4) Replace the second one as step 2) and 3).
5) Replace the battery door.
6) Pinch the RESET switch if the unit get any trouble after battery replacement. Be calm, the data stored will not
be erased by doing so if correct steps are followed.
Auto power OFF
This organiser will be powered OFF automatically if it is not used for about 3 minutes. All the stored data will be
restored after this unit is powered on by pressing the ON key.
Functions
“Translator” mode
Press the button relative to “WORD TRANSLATION”. Follow the display’s instruction to select the “SOURCE
LANGUAGE” from the topmost keys.
Key in the word to be translated and then press the “ENTER” key to check if this word is provided inside the wordlist, the display will show a word which is closest to the key-in spelling. If the key-in word exists, the LCD will
show both the word and a ☺ foot-note on the bottom of the display.
Press the language key, on the top-most, to select different language translation.
Remark : If the translated word is too long, a foot-note ► or ◄ will be shown on the right bottom of the LCD. In
this case, press the ► or ◄ key to shift the display to show the whole word.
Press ▲ or ▼ to scroll the previous or the following word in the word-list.
Remark : About 7000 words per language.
“Phrases” mode
Press the key relative to “PHRASE TRANSLATION”. Follow the display’s instruction to select the “SOURCE
LANGUAGE”.
The display will show a phrase written in the selected “SOURCE LANGUAGE”.
Press the language key to select different language translation.
Press the ▲ or ▼ to scroll the previous or following phrases.
Press the ► or ◄ to shift the display to show the whole phrases.
Press the “ON “ key to display the phrases at the beginning.
“Calculator” mode
Press the key relative to “CALCULATOR”. Display will show “0”.
Key-in the number and “OPERATOR” which is printed in green colour on the casing to do calculation.
The display can show up to 12 digit calculation.
Remark :
The foot-note “M” will be shown on the left top if a data is stored in the memory.

“Telephone repertory” mode
A) How to create a record. Press the key relative to “TELEPHONE DIRECRTORY”. Press the “EDT” key to
create file. Follow the display’s instruction to enter “NAME” and “PHONE NUMBER” record. After the name is
keyped-in, press “ENTER” key to save the name. In entering the phone number record, press the “EDT” key to
save each phone number and press “ENTER” to save the whole record.

B) How to search a record
Press the key relative to “TELEPHONE DIRECTORY” to get into this mode. Key in the whole name and press
“ENTER” to retrieve the record.
Or
Key in the first alphabet of the name and press ▼ to scroll the record with this alphabet as the first alphabet. Then
press “ENTER” key if the desired name displays to retrieve the record.
Or
Press the ▼ to scroll the record in alphabetical order and press “ENTER” if the desired name displays to retrieve
the record.
Press ▲ or ▼ to review the data inside the record.
The records are stored in the following order :
CAPITAL LETTER A and corresponding accents, to Z, then small letter a and corresponding accents, to z.
C) How to edit a record
Search the specific record. Press the “EDIT” key. Press ► or ◄ to move the cursor to the specific character
position of the name to insert or delete character by pressing “ON/DEL” key. Then press the “ENTER” key. Press
► or ◄ to move the cursor and make the same procedure as C) to edit the phone number. Be sure to move the
cursor to the last character of the last phone number and press “ENTER” key to finish editing.
D) How to delete a record
Search the specific record. Press “SHIFT” key, then “ON/DEL” key. Follow the display’s instruction to press “Y”
key to delete the record or other key to quit the cancellation of the record.
E) How to delete all the records
Press the key relative to “TELEPHONE DIRECTORY”. Press “SHIFT + “ON/DEL”. Follow the display’s
instruction to press “Y” key to delete all the records or other key to quit the cancellation.
“Home time” mode
A) How to insert the home time
Press the key relative to “HOME TIME”. Press “► CITY” key to show the city name. Press the first alphabet of
the desired city name. Press ▼ to scroll the city name until the desired city name show in the display. Press the
“TIME ◄” to show the time. Press the “EDT” key to insert the time and date.
Press the “ENTER “ key.
B) How to read the “HOME TIME”
Press the key relative to “HOME TIME”. The display will show the “HOME” city name for about 2 seconds, then
the time.

“World time” mode
A) How to read the world time
Press the key relative to “WORLD TIME”. Press the “► CITY” key to show the city name. Key in the first
alphabet of the desired city. Press ▼ to scroll the city name until the desired city name shows in the displays.
Press the “TIME ◄” to show the time.
e.g.
Search the time of “TOKYO”
Press the “T” key.
The display will show “TAHITI”.
Press “► CITY” key until the display shows “TOKYO”.
Press “TIME ◄” to show the corresponding time.
“Alarm” mode
There are totally 4 daily alarm.
A) How to set the daily alarm
Press the key relative to “ALARM”. The display shows “1” which means the first alarm.
Press the “EDT” key. Press “x/AM” or “c/PM” to switch between AM or PM. Then key in the desired time. Press
the “ENTER” key to finish the set up. Press “Z/ ” to turn on the alarm. Press ▼ to go to the second, third o
fourth alarm and follow the same procedure to set up the corresponding alarm.
B) How to turn the alarm off when the alarm beeps
Press the “ON” key will turn it off.
Special features
A) How to turn off the key-ton
Press the “HOME TIME” key to enter the home time mode.
♪ to set the key beep ON/OFF.
If “ON”, the foot-note ♪ will show in the right bottom of the display.
If “OFF”, the foot-note ♪ will disappear.

B) How to get a capital letter
Press the “SHIFT” key. Press the desired alphabet.
C) How to get accent
Press the alphabet key. Press the “ACNT” key until the desired accent show in the display.
D) Pinch the “RESET” key whenever the device get into trouble.
