IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR COMPETITORS

Extra parking available for floats and horse trucks/goosenecks – enter through usual
gateway next to Prices’ Service Centre, Louee Street and receive directions
 Ring crew will be wearing bright orange shirts – crew are available to provide
assistance and direction
 Grand Parade and Show opening by wood-chopping Champion, DAVID FOSTER, at
3pm. All competitors are invited to participate to help make the event a success
 Warming up allowed in the ring until 8am sharp
 Drug testing may be carried out at this Show. Any competitor found to have breached
the ASC Disputes and Disciplinary regulations will be investigated by the ASC
Disciplinary Committee
Ring Steward will pay prize money for ring events
Trophies/prizes are available for collection from the Ring Secretary throughout the day
The Show Society will not send trophies/prizes to winners
‘Local’ defined by boundaries as per map on page 11 of Schedule
All stallions and colts to be controlled by a bit and stallions to be handled by adults only
Stallions not eligible to compete in Rings 1 & 2
Classes will only be held up at the Judges’ discretion
Riders compete at own RISK and must wear HEADGEAR applicable to their event

The Rylstone-Kandos Show Society mourns the tragic loss of friend, colleague
and member, John Knox. John died in a helicopter accident on 9 December 2012
while working near Mudgee. John owned Agri-Copters and was the son of Life
Member and Patron, John Knox, and his wife, Helen. The Society would like to
acknowledge John’s contribution to the Show, especially in the Ring. He is sadly
missed by many.
