The 23rd Italy Japan Business Group
Joint Meeting Oct4-5 in Kyoto
Italy-Japan Business Group (IJBG) is the only bilateral business
interchange group between Italy and Japan. IJBG have held Joint Meeting
alternately every year since 1989.
(Co-chaired by Finmeccanica and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd.)
At General Assembly, business intellectuals and scholars make speeches and panel discussion
regarding Italy-Japan Business Interchange.
This year, 23rd IJBG Joint Meeting takes up important themes in latest Italy-Japan and
EU-Japan business relationship such as:
*Japan-EU EPA negotiation -challenges and future
* Reconstruction and Energy in the Future –effects of
March 11 earthquakes in Japan* Rescue robotics, Natural disaster prediction & monitoring,
Reconstruction in disaster area
Audiences for the joint meeting will have opportunity to have insights for efforts Japan striving to
overcome from natural disaster.
We hope to have as many participants and audiences who are;
interested in Italy-Japan business and academic interchange, hoping to make connection with
Italian and Japanese businessperson, or willing to enjoy business lunch and dinner in Kyoto.
