Subject: Cemeteries' Report-HFPJC From: "hfpjc" <hfpjc@thejnet.com> Date: Thu, 8 Jul 2004 11:46:45 -0400 X-Message-Number: 5 Fellow Genners, Many of you may recall my previous postings in which the restoration projects of several European cemeteries arranged by the Heritage Foundation for Preservation of Jewish Cemeteries throughout Eastern Europe (HFPJC) were announced, along with an appeal for addition info which could benefit the particular projects. Therefore, I take much pleasure in informing you as to the current positive status of those cemeteries. In the future, however, I think it would be more convenient for y'all if I post a list of the cemeteries currently being restored, along with a one-liner describing its present status. Of course, if anybody recognizes any of the towns as their -or an acquaintance's- ancestral hometown and has any info which might benefit the project, we'd very much appreciate if you could contact our office, tel. 800-945-1552. E-mail: hfpjc@thejnet.com or gen@jewishcemeterypreservation.org. Thanks in Advance.
