A short REHEARSAL will be on November 6th, 6:00 p.m. at the Ashland Middle School
(previously Verity Middle School).
Rehearsal is optional, attendance is not required.
Rules and Regulations:
All contestants compete in the age division they are on November 1, 2015. Contestants should report no later
than 2:40 p.m. the day of the pageant.
Contestants must be a legal resident of Kentucky, West Virginia or Ohio.
All winners, Tiny Miss through Queen Divisions, will be required to participate in the Winter Wonderland
Christmas parade on November 24th and be available to appear on stage at the “Opening Night” ceremony on
November 16th. The Jr. Miss, Princess and Queen winners are also requested to attend and assist with
Breakfast with Santa on December 5th.
The modeling will be presented in a forward T-formation and retraced to the starting point.
At the Pageant Committee’s discretion, age categories may be combined if not enough in any one category.
Contestants will be judged on beauty, poise, attire, confidence and modeling with a possible score of 100 per
judge. 1st, 2nd and 3rd places will be given out in the beauty category for each age group. All contestants 10 and
under will receive a participation award.
Participants in the Queen category are required to answer an on stage question in parade sportswear attire,
therefore if they sign up for the optional communication category they will be answering 2 different questions
(one in sportswear and one in beauty). The queen contestants will be judged in sportswear first, then evening
gown.
All judge’s decisions are FINAL!!

be disclosed to the contestant.
