Session 3: Equally Yours Board Game The Equally Yours board game enables young people to approach learning about Equalities and Diversity in a relaxed and fun way, while allowing exploration of serious and important issues facing adults and young people in society in the 21st Century. The experiential nature of the board game provides the opportunity to take learning to deeper levels and also rewards previous knowledge and understanding. Aims: To give participants the opportunity to explore Equalities and Diversity in a challenging, interactive and fun manner. Objectives: For participants to develop deeper understanding and confidence when working with diversity To allow participants to explore self in respect of their thinking and behaviour, and examining perception To recap and increase knowledge of legislation, policy and its influences on individual actions and decision making To debate and explore views in a range of diversity scenarios. The game can be played with up to 15 players, so if done in the classroom, you may want to split the class and set a number of tasks that will run along a similar theme.
