I am currently employed by RWE Dea - Egypt Branch as an office based drilling engineer
since three years. I am responsible for writing drilling programs & following up the drilling
operations on daily bases. I have started as software engineer for one year and spent two
years in Rashpetco, B.G. Egypt as drilling engineer in Offshore & Office.

Writing drilling programs and design documents for onshore wells. Planned and drilled 8 onshore
exploratory wells of Nile Delta and medium depth up to 12,000 ft.

Using Halliburton - Landmark Software Package (Compass, CasingSeat, StressCheck &
WellPlan) for Well Design and Technical studies.

Developed AFE & TVD spreadsheets, recorded and analyses NPT, and compiled lessons learnt
spreadsheets and End of well Report.

Follow up drilling operations with rig contractor and service companies on daily bases.

Using Baker - Riglink Software for real time monitoring for the drilling operation.

Supervise Casing Running & Cementing Operations.

Compiled daily drilling reports, summaries, casing tally, casing cement report, BHA record.

Plan ahead to determine future requirements for drilling equipment and consumables and ensure
all materials and services are ordered timely.

Drilling Engineer – Offshore / Office


Well Site Drilling Engineer working on Semi submersible rigs in Mediterranean Sea (Atwood
Hunter, Scarabeo-6, and Jim Cunningham) for two weeks a month.

Doing paper work i.e.: daily drilling report, 5 day look ahead, casing tally, casing cement report,
bit & BHA record, leak-off test report, kill sheet….etc.

Drilled & completed more than 10 wells of West Delta Deep Marine, Water depth up to 3000 ft,
(Development, Exploratory and HPHT wells) and medium depth up to 10,000 ft.

Working as an office based drilling engineer for the other two weeks sharing senior drilling
engineers in well design & drilling programs.

Perform all necessary engineering calculations in support of the daily operations.
