RESPECT Refugiados is an NGO working to raise awareness among
international youth about refugees and refugees related issues,
encouraging activism and further empower refugee children and
communities through letter and cultural exchange. We work also
intensively in capacity building, increasing the skills and knowledge
of local NGOs and volunteers in developing countries through online

Project objective is to prevent and combat any kind of violence
against women, both if it happens in public field and in private field,
adapting preventive measures and giving support to victims in order
to achieve the following specific objectives:
- To prevent future violent situations for the victim.
- To minimize effects of violence exerted against victims.
- To avoid secondary victimization of battered women.
- To integrate and stimulate NGOs and other active organizations in
this field.
- To develop and put into practice guidelines for action in gender
violence cases.
- To incorporate new TICs for management of these functions and
for victims
monitoring.
- To help the activity of a specific Group to develop these tasks, as
one of the Police Corp policies in order to enforce police officers
labour growth.
- To develop a multidisciplinary mixed team which be able to
manage

comprehensively victims and offenders needs, after their
circumstances have been studied.
Partnership
The partner skill wanted is composed by organizations as Police
Forces, NGOs, Victims Associations, Public Administrations related
with social services, Foundations, Universities and Training or
Investigation Institutes.
In brief, Public and Private Organization and Institutions which work
to prevent and combat gender violence, in the field of protection
against that violence or assisting the victims. Besides Organizations
which work carrying out specific actions to promote violence refusing
or encouraging the attitudes and behaviours change regarding
vulnerable groups and violence victims.
Call for proposals Hera will be submitted for the next call of
proposals of Daphne Programme, foreseen for march of 2009, so in
this phase the objectives are to select the Consortium and to shape
the proposal.

Escuela Europea is a training centre located in Asturias (North of
y Spain). It has more than 20 years of experience in the education of
young people and in their work insertion attending to their skills,
attitude and enterprising character. Apart from the training area,
Escuela Europea consists of a Social Area which main mission are
the training courses teaching for people with social and work

people, more than 45 years old people, and so on). Within this area,
it imparts training courses to professional mediators (persons who
help people in difficulties to improve their work skills and their
knowledge.
Escuela Europea has taken part of different European Projects as
“Eurojobmediator” with the main target of the creation of a Job
Insertion Mediator and the project “ESPAEST” where a Spanish
language course, oriented for people interested in doing business
with Spanish companies. A database with companies interested in
export was done.

of EU vocational schools. We will acquaint our Estonian model to

Our project focuses on analysing organic beekeeping with every
aspects both in Turkey and in European countries in order to obtain
more healty and more real honey . Its aim is to produce pedagogical
materials for bekeepers in Turkey and our partner countries.We
want to support our members, who are deal with beekeeping around
Aksaray, with a mix of training and advice. Foreseen results include
a training guide, a book for raising the awareness of the rural target
groups, a pedagogical manual and a website. Aksaray Association of
Beekeepers is a kind of local non-governmental organization(NGO).

We, Food Safety and Nutrition Department of Refik Saydam Hygiene
Center (www.rshm.gov.tr), dependent research and development
organisation of Ministry of Health, has decided to apply for a new EU
funded Project, namely “Participation” under Life Long Learning
Programme, Leonardo da Vinci 2008. Within this scope we kindly

request the interested sides’ corporation as a partner.
One of the subjects we are interested in is the unhealthy nutrition
resulting in obesity. We would like to establish a “center for
information services” for collecting data on obesity indicators,
nutritional habits and physical activity frequency among the children
of 0-3 years of age in Turkey via several tools such as surveying and
measurements (i.e. mass body index). In the light of these data,
establishment of a database system is foreseen for further
sustainability. Consequently the results will be expected to play a
significant role for policy making on the issue. Prior to all, we need
to corporate with an organisation highly experienced in surveying,
statistics, methodology and information services.
