Adjunct Instructor
Utilizing current technology (including iclickers, video, and social media) teach as requested or necessary.
Courses currently teaching/taught include Psychology of Sustainability (PSH405), Environmental Science
(ENV201), Ecology (ENV303), Sustainability in Ecuador; a Global Perspective on Economic, Environmental
and Social Equity (OAP 404) and Limnology Lab (ENV419).
Chair of the Sustainability Task Force
2007-Present
Coordinator of the interdisciplinary task force composed of 30+ faculty and staff charged with communicating
and promoting environmental sustainability through civic engagement, curriculum and faculty development.
Highlights include: Sustainability Policy, Princeton Review’s Guide to 286 Green Colleges, RBJ
Environmental Leadership Award 2010 and placing third in NYS in Recyclemania. Chair functions include
annual reporting, development, public relations, event coordination, scheduling, marketing and data analysis.

advisement, ANGEL and Banner information systems liaison, budgeting and accounting, hazardous waste

 Taught/supervised Intro. Environmental Science lab (ENV 202) to majors and non-majors.
 Helped teach Marine Biology/Geology, January intersession, San Salvador Island, Bahamas.
 Engaged students in proper field techniques for various lab exercises within the Department.
 Resolved problematic experiments and exercises to develop proper techniques for class.
 Advised the student club; Environmentally Conscious Organization for Society (ECOS).
 Managed Department assets including: equipment, budget, lab space, etc.
