SPECIFICATION FOR 8 METRES HIGH.
NK Ballcatch Net Fencing System to stand 8 M high above ground level, comprising
150mm x 150mm SHS posts x 10 M long with 6mm thick welded steel cap and lifting
eye. Posts have 60mm x 60mm x 6mm thick angle brackets holed on one flange for
bolting through posts at 1.2 M centers, and holed on the other flange to strain two 6mm
horizontal cables via 12mm diameter hook and eye turnbuckles. Approximately half way
up the post are two bolted 50mm x 50mm x 6mm thick angle brackets shaped at 45
degrees, supporting 12mm diameter bracing cables to ground foundation anchor blocks
stained via 22mm diameter bottle screws and back up to the top of the post. Posts can be
set up to a maximum of 30m centre’s into concrete foundations 3m long x 2m deep x
1.5m wide with a 315mm diameter PVC pipe in the middle to accepted posts grouted into
position to a depth of 2m. At approximately 10 M adjacent to the post are concrete
foundations measuring 1.3m cubed supporting anchor blocks each fitted with two no
22mm diameter bottle screws straining 12mm diameter cable bracers to the top and to the
middle of the post. The net comprises of 100mm x 100mm x 2.3mm diameter
polyethylene UV resistant sports net and finished with a 8mm diameter rope to all sides,
this in turn is secured to 8mm diameter cables with carbine hooks and cable ties, the net
starts 2m above ground level and continues up to the top of the post and spanning
between them to a maximum of 30m.
