ONTARIO REGULATION 528/97
DELEGATION OF AUTHORITY (TOWNSHIP OF SIDNEY, TOWNSHIP OF MURRAY AND
VILLAGE OF FRANKFORD)
Consolidation Period: From December 31, 1997 to the e-Laws currency date.

This Regulation is made in English only.
1. (1) The authority of the Minister under subsection 305 (2) of the Municipal Act, subsection 88 (3) of the Registry Act
and section 146 of the Land Titles Act is delegated to the council of The Corporation of the Village of Frankford with respect
to all applications made on or after December 31, 1997 for land in the Village of Frankford. O. Reg. 528/97, s. 1 (1).
(2) The authority of the Minister under subsection 297 (10) of the Municipal Act is delegated to the council of The
Corporation of the Village of Frankford with respect to all by-laws passed on or after December 31, 1997 for land in the
Village of Frankford. O. Reg. 528/97, s. 1 (2).
2. All authority of the Minister under section 51 of the Act to approve a plan of subdivision and section 50 of the
Condominium Act to approve or exempt a condominium description is delegated to the council of The Corporation of the
Village of Frankford with respect to applications made before December 31, 1997 whose file numbers are set out in section 1
of Schedule 1. O. Reg. 528/97, s. 2.
3. All authority of the Minister under section 53 of the Act to give consents is delegated to the council of The Corporation
of the Village of Frankford with respect to applications made before December 31, 1997 whose file numbers are set out in
section 1 of Schedule 2. O. Reg. 528/97, s. 3.
4. (1) The authority of the Minister under subsection 305 (2) of the Municipal Act, subsection 88 (3) of the Registry Act

Corporation of the Township of Sidney with respect to all by-laws passed on or after December 31, 1997 for land in the

5. All authority of the Minister under section 51 of the Act to approve a plan of subdivision and section 50 of the
Condominium Act to approve or exempt a condominium description is delegated to the council of The Corporation of the
Township of Sidney with respect to applications made before December 31, 1997 whose file numbers are set out in section 2
of Schedule 1. O. Reg. 528/97, s. 5.
6. All authority of the Minister under section 53 of the Act to give consents is delegated to the council of The Corporation
of the Township of Sidney with respect to applications made before December 31, 1997 whose file numbers are set out in
section 2 of Schedule 2. O. Reg. 528/97, s. 6.
7. (1) The authority of the Minister under subsection 305 (2) of the Municipal Act, subsection 88 (3) of the Registry Act
and section 146 of the Land Titles Act is delegated to the council of The Corporation of the Township of Murray with respect
to all applications made on or after December 31,1997 for land in the Township of Murray. O. Reg. 528/97, s. 7 (1).
(2) The authority of the Minister under subsection 297 (10) of the Municipal Act is delegated to the council of The
Corporation of the Township of Murray with respect to all by-laws passed on or after December 31, 1997 in the Township of

8. All authority of the Minister under section 51 of the Act to approve a plan of subdivision and section 50 of the
Condominium Act to approve or exempt a condominium description is delegated to the council of The Corporation of the
Township of Murray with respect to applications made before December 31, 1997 whose file numbers are set out in section 3
of Schedule 1. O. Reg. 528/97, s. 8.
9. (1) If any authority delegated under this Regulation is further delegated to a committee of the council or to an
appointed officer under subsection 5 (1) of the Act, the council shall forward to the Minister a certified copy of the delegation
by-law within 15 days of its passing. O. Reg. 528/97, s. 9 (1).
(2) A further delegation of authority is not terminated by reason only that the condition set out in subsection (1) is not
complied with. O. Reg. 528/97, s. 9 (2).
