Our Associate Director of Worship for Next Generation Ministries will be responsible for the execution of our strategic plan in the context of worship ministry. We are not looking for someone to create direction, rather to take the direction being given by the leadership of the church and staff team and to execute the plan. Responsibilities of the Associate Director of Worship: Brentview is committed to a team approach to ministry. The Associate Director of Worship Ministry will attend weekly staff meetings, quarterly strategic planning meetings and other leadership meetings deemed relevant. They actively participate in the overall mission and vision of the church including a commitment to the worship life at Brentview Baptist Church. Development of Worship Teams across Next Generation Large Group Environments including: Church Profile 2 o Pre-school o K-4 o Shift Ministries o Family Ministries o Student Ministry o Young Adult Ministry Development of Worship Leaders in Next Generation Ministries. In partnership with the Pastoral Team, the Next Generation Worship Director will assist in creating a culture of worship in Brentview Baptist Church. Pastoral Care and Spiritual Development of Volunteers in worship ministry in Next Generation Large Group Environments. Other responsibilities Communications: The Associate Director is responsible for effective communication using Brentview Baptist Church communication tools i.e. Planning Centre Online and The City. Budget: Working alongside the Church Administrator, the Associate Director is responsible for the development and execution of the financial plan and budget for Next Generation Worship Ministry. Other ministry responsibilities as deemed appropriate by the Elders and Senior Pastor and Executive Pastor such as preaching, pastoral care, attending events- weddings, funerals, church celebrations, outreach programs etc. Personal commitment to Spiritual Transformation and Professional Development.
