(16) detailed habitat description: vegetation structure, water level and condition, human impact (cutting, burning, drainage, ...), coverage and height of shrubs; coverage and height of tussocks; moss cover; indicate date(s) of first description.

Location: The site is presented as a number of small (3-30 ha) patches of suitable vegetation located at the benches and islands of Dzitva River. The patches are limited by the river and by reeds .

AW was registered at the only one patch.

Vegetation: Carex communities.

Mean water level: 3 cm.

Thickness of litter layer: 1.5 cm

Coverage and height of shrubs: The floodplain is being heavily overgrown with willow shrubs, however there are only single bushes on the islands.

Human impact: the floodplain is crossed by fish men pathways.

Eutrophication of floodplain due to agricultural fields located both sides of the river leads to overgrowing with shrubs.
