Postgraduate Diploma in Accountancy Scholarship
Purpose and Background
With the generous donation of HK$4,000 from the Lingnan University Accountancy
Education Foundation Limited (the donor) to the “Postgraduate Diploma in
Accountancy Scholarships” (the Scholarships), the Scholarships will be awarded to
students of Lingnan University from the academic year 2013/14. The following
regulations shall apply as of 2015/16.
1. The Scholarships shall be known as the “Postgraduate Diploma in Accountancy
Scholarships” (會計學深造文憑獎學金).
2. There shall be one scholarship for students from Postgraduate Diploma in
Accountancy. The value of the Scholarship shall be HK$2,500 per annum.
Eligibility
The Scholarships shall be awarded to one student from Postgraduate Diploma in
Accountancy.
Criteria
1. Each awardee should achieve a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average
(CGPA) of 3.00.
2.
Students with outstanding involvement/achievement in community service will
be an advantage.
3.
Awardee shall not be nominated by the Department/Faculty for other scholarships
in the same academic year (except scholarships administrated by outside
organisations).
Procedures
1. Nominations from the Department of Accountancy shall reach the Student
Services Centre which will copy the result to the Office of Institutional
Advancement and Alumni Affairs and forward to the Donor for approval.
2.
These regulations may be revised subject to mutual agreement between the
donor and the University.
