CHECKLIST FOR REGISTRATION OF TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER
AGREEMENT WITH THE NATIONAL OFFICE FOR TECHNOLOGY
ACQUISITION AND PROMOTION (NOTAP)

National Office for Technology Acquisition and
Promotion (NOTAP) application form, to be duly completed.
2.
Accompanying the NOTAP Application form are:
Application/processing fee of Twenty Thousand
Naira (N20,000).

Penalty fee of Fifty Thousand Naira (N50,000) where the commencement date for the
Agreement is more than thirty (30) days from the date of the submission of the application for
NOTAP registration.
Certified true copy of the Memorandum and
Articles of Association of the Applicant company.

Copy of the Certificate of Incorporation of the
Applicant company.
Two executed copies of the completed NOTAP questionnaire.
Annual Audited Accounts for the last three years or such approximate period (if the company has existed for more than eighteen (18) months prior to the submission of the Application).
Actual and projected net sales and profits before tax for a period of 10 years.
Copy of feasibility study where one is available.
Details of Trade Mark registration in Nigeria and in any other country.
Comprehensive Training and quality programme for Nigerian employees with a succession plan.
