Overview: Liquidia Technologies is developing engineered particle-based vaccines and therapeutics that
have the potential to dramatically improve the quality of human life. Utilizing a novel technology known
as the PRINT® platform, Liquidia is creating rationally-design carriers for improved delivery of small
molecule and biological cargos. By designing highly specific particles that deliver therapies to an
intended target, Liquidia is uncovering ways to optimize the safety and efficacy of vaccines and
therapeutics. Liquidia's PRINT platform makes it possible for the first time to design particles with
independent and precise control of particle size, shape, chemistry, surface functionality, and flexibility.
The ability to modify these key particle attributes is allowing Liquidia and its partners to develop more
optimized, safe, and effective vaccines and therapies for a wide variety of diseases.
Proposed Scope of Work for Fellow:
Liquidia is seeking a postdoctoral associate to design and engage in research activities toward identifying
and developing new applications in the vaccines, therapeutics, and diagnostics spaces. The position will
report to the Director of Research and will be a member of the research team.
Proposed Activities :
•Participate in scouting of new application areas for Liquidia’s core technology •Assist in designing
research plans to achieve proof-of-concept for new research projects •Independently conduct
experiments to demonstrate the feasibility of new application areas •Interface with senior research
staff, legal, manufacturing, and business development to further advance promising programs
Desired Qualifications of Fellow:
The ideal candidate for this position has a Ph.D. or equivalent in Chemistry, Biomedical Engineering,
Pharmaceutical Sciences, Materials Science, or similar discipline. Significant interactions with legal,
manufacturing, and business development personnel at Liquidia may be required. Experience with
nanoparticle systems, drug delivery and/or in vitro diagnostics is preferred. Excellent cross-functional
oral and written communication skills are necessary.
