Conditions:
This contract is applicable If you have used 3 breeding doses on one Mare over a minimum of 2 breeding cycles and still
do not get your Mare in foal with VDL Frozen semen purchased from VDL or through one of the VDL authorized agents.
This contract is live foal guarantee (foal is standing and nursing at 48 hours) with a return for the following breeding
season. A report is due no later than August 31 of the present breeding season on whether the mare is in foal or not.
Late reports will be charged applicable fees from the registries.
Prior permission from Majestic Gaits must be given before substitution of another Mare.
Navarone, Farrington and Schroeder semen is EVA negative.
Majestic Gaits will require a letter from the breeding veterinarian containing the following information:
 The Mare has bred on at least 2 different heat cycles, using all 3 doses of the frozen semen.
 The breeding condition of the Mare, including biopsy, culture and blood test results and ultrasound findings.
 Treatment that was used on the mare, including uterine flushes, hormones such as HCG and Ovuplants.
 That the Mare is considered breedably sound.
Fresh Semen COLLECTION SCHEDULE:
Semen will be collected Monday-Friday on request. We will work around the show schedules as much as feasible. The
Buyer should contact Majestic Gaits when the mare is in heat to give us a heads up for collection and definaterly the day
before to guarantee shipment during regular breeding season March 1 – August 10. Outside of the breeding season,
advance precoordination is required. The Buyer should keep Majestic Gaits informed of the progress of the heat cycle of
their mare. This will help Majestic Gaits ensure we will have semen ready for your Mare when needed. Majestic Gaits will
try to accommodate requests as much as possible. We ship via Federal Express next day air, so we can only ship
Monday through Friday. If possible time your mare for breeding Tuesday through Saturday.
FEES:
1. Booking Fee: A nonrefundable booking fee of $300 is due with the signing of this contract. This contract does not
need to be filled out until the Mare is determined not in foal after the 3rd breeding dose of VDL Frozen Semen.
2. Collecton Fee: The semen will be shipped fresh chilled in a disposable shipping container. Collection fees of $275
per collection are due prior to shipment of the semen
3. Shipping costs: We ship via Federal Express charged to the Buyer. A credit card or Federal Express account should
be provided to cover these costs
If fresh semen becomes unavailable for breeding within the 2 breeding years of this contract the fees are not refundable.
ASSIGNMENT:
This Contract may not be transferred to another Buyer unless the original Mare is sold or previous permission from
Majestic Gaits.
Law
The terms of this Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of New Hampshire.
Breach
Either party may nullify this Agreement if the other party breaches a material term of this Agreement. The wronged party
may recover reasonable attorney’s fees and court costs. Executed this ______ day of _______________, 2015.
