On behalf of the Council of The Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists of Ireland it is with great
pleasure that we invite you to participate in our Annual Podiatry Conference at the Rochestown Park
Hotel Cork on the 9th of April 2016.
The theme of this conference is “Strength in Flexibility” highlighting the role of the Podiatrist in the
management of mobility in chronic disease. Podiatrists have a vital role in the retention of mobility and
independence, particularly in the elderly populous. The focus of this meeting is to consider the
specifics of this role in relation to the effects of chronic disease.
Individuals with ongoing health problems are living longer fuller lives than ever before. Podiatrists are
influential members of the multidisciplinary team and play a key role in supporting independence in
chronic disease.
Please come and join us in celebrating the unique role of the podiatrists in maintaining individual’s
strength in a flexible environment.
There are a number of sponsorship opportunities and exhibition spaces available at the conference.
We look forward to an exciting meeting in the vibrant city of Cork that promises to be an informative
