Many find prayer makes a difference. {insert City, state]:—The US demographic shift to people over 65 is profoundly impacting health care. Is it possible to remain healthy as the years advance without becoming dependent on expensive medical procedures and pills? International speaker and practitioner of Christian Science healing, Marceil DeLacy says, “Yes. Having spent many years in the company of seniors, I’ve observed the degree to which an active prayer-life contributes to a healthy state of mind and body.” DeLacy, a member of the Christian Science Board of Lectureship, will explore this subject in an inspirational lecture titled “Looking forward, not backward: a spiritual perspective on advancing years” on {insert day, date, time, here} at {insert location here}. In this talk, you will learn how forgiveness, gratitude, and an understanding of life as eternal can contribute to better health, vitality, and renewed purpose at any age. DeLacy will draw on the timeless wisdom of the Bible along with the writings of Mary Baker Eddy, a woman of incredible energy and accomplishment throughout her senior years. Examples will be shared of how people in their 90s and beyond have found healing. Raised by Christian Science parents, Marceil DeLacy’s lifelong guides have been the Bible and Mary Baker Eddy’s book Science and Health. These books have nurtured in her a strong commitment to helping others. This led her, more than 25 years ago, to become a practitioner of Christian Science healing and later a teacher of this Science. Additionally, her volunteer work has taken her to such places as inner city jails in New York City, Afghan refugee camps in Pakistan, a cafe for recovering addicts in Seattle, and a rural village in Guatemala. DeLacy is a dynamic speaker who has given numerous lectures at universities, hospitals, churches, retirement homes, health conferences, and many other venues. Her home base is in Seattle, Washington. ### DeLacy is available for media interviews. To contact her, email marceil.delacy@gmail.com or phone 206-770-9007.
