Moses asked for permission from Spain before Mexico won independence. So Stephen had to come back and ask for permission from Mexico. 6. Who did Stephen F. He fought for Mexicans mistreated by Spain (but left out the lower class when making the classes equal. 24. What did Haden Edwards do? In 1821 new settlers got extra land for owning slaves and in 1825 they no longer received extra land for owning slaves. 27. What is the name of this era?
